Orbit CI + Datadog: Native CI/CD Observability

We're excited to share that Orbit CI is now a Datadog Technology Partner, with a native integration that brings CI/CD telemetry directly into Datadog, the same way Datadog's own integrations work.

With the new integration, Orbit CI automatically publishes pipeline, job and workflow metrics into your Datadog account. Because these are treated as native Datadog metrics, they don't count as custom metrics, which means teams can finally get visibility into build performance and reliability without worrying about unexpected billing.

In the first version, we're shipping a CI/CD dashboard and monitors powered by the data collected by the Orbit CI agent and platform. You get real-time insight into what's slowing your builds down, where failures cluster, how performance trends over time, and how CI/CD impacts your delivery.

In the next versions, Orbit CI will go deeper into the Datadog ecosystem with

• richer dashboards and new widgets
• more metrics
• custom UI components built using Datadog's App Builder

Our goal is simple: make CI/CD observability feel first-class inside Datadog and give engineering teams the clarity they need to ship faster, safer and cheaper.
